Regu uses the same tropical natal positions and the astronomical True North Node. Every longitude is rotated by one identical amount, so natal aspects and planet house numbers remain unchanged. The new information comes from the shifted zodiac signs and contacts between the draconic and tropical layers.

Common questions
How is a draconic chart calculated?
The longitude of the True North Node is subtracted from every natal longitude. This places the North Node at 0° Aries and rotates the rest of the chart by the same amount.
Does a draconic chart replace my birth chart?
No. It is a derived comparison layer. The tropical chart remains the natal reference, while the draconic chart is read beside it.
Why are the aspects inside both charts the same?
Every point is moved by the same number of degrees. The distance between two natal planets therefore stays unchanged, even though their zodiac signs shift.
Do I need an exact birth time?
An exact time is required for reliable angles and houses. Without it, Regu still calculates the planets using a noon estimate but clearly withholds the time-sensitive parts.
Does this use the True Node or Mean Node?
Regu uses the astronomical True North Node and states that method in the result.
