Release from

Spirit is the standard starting point for vocation, action, and life direction. Fortune shifts the lens toward circumstance, body, and material conditions.

Additional Hermetic Lots

These releases are useful for specialist research, but Spirit and Fortune remain the most established starting points.

Exact birth time is required. The selected Lot and Fortune sign depend on the Ascendant and chart sect.

How the Zodiacal Releasing calculator works

Zodiacal Releasing divides time into nested sign periods using the traditional planetary period values and a 360-day year. The calculator derives the selected Hermetic Lot from your exact natal data, starts the release from its zodiac sign, and maps the complete Level 1 sequence through Level 4, with optional Level 5 micro-periods for narrow timing windows.

Spirit, Fortune, or Eros: which release should you use?

Release from the Lot of Spirit for vocation, intentional action, direction, and what you actively set in motion. Use the Lot of Fortune for the body, material conditions, livelihood, and circumstances outside direct choice. The Lot of Eros adds a specialist view of attraction, desire, creativity, and bonds.

How to read L1, L2, L3, and L4 periods

Begin with Level 1, the broad life chapter containing the focus date. Then follow the active path through Levels 2, 3, and 4 to refine the timing. A lower level never replaces the larger period around it; repeated signs, rulers, and angular activations become more useful when read across several levels.

Loosing of the Bond, culmination, and peak periods

A Loosing of the Bond marks a structural break in the normal sign sequence. Culmination, completion, and peak periods add another timing layer by showing sequence shifts and angular relationships to Fortune. These markers do not guarantee a specific event; the natal chart and the topic of the selected Lot remain essential context.

Zodiacal Releasing questions

What do L1 through L5 mean?

They are nested timing levels. L1 covers long life chapters; L2-L4 progressively refine the active period. L5 is an optional advanced layer for narrow timing windows and should be read inside the surrounding L1-L4 sequence.

Should I release from Spirit or Fortune?

Use Spirit for vocation, intention, actions, and direction. Use Fortune for bodily, material, and circumstantial topics. Eros can be used for attraction, desire, and relational bonds.

What is Loosing of the Bond?

It is a traditional sequence shift that occurs after a full circuit of subperiods. It often marks a structural transition in the topic being released, not an automatic positive or negative event.

Why is an exact birth time required?

The Lots are calculated from the Ascendant, Sun, Moon, and chart sect. A time change can move the Lots into different signs and change the complete timeline.
