How is Solar Arc calculated?

Regu calculates the distance between the natal Sun and the secondary progressed Sun for the target age, then adds that same arc to every natal planet and angle.

Is Solar Arc the same as Solar Return?

No. A Solar Return is a new chart for the annual Sun return. Solar Arc symbolically moves the natal chart forward and compares directed points back to natal positions.

Why is exact birth time important?

The Ascendant and Midheaven move quickly. Even a small birth-time error can shift the year when a directed angle becomes exact.
